The muster has sounded, are you ready? Set your son up for success at Sparhawk!
Minuteman Camp Detail
During Minuteman Camp, boys will have the opportunity to practice some useful academic and creative skills in a fun setting. Through both games and traditional methods, boys will work on grade-appropriate math, allowing them to jump right into the Saxon Math curriculum in September. They will work on reading and recitation techniques, gearing up to complete their summer reading and poetry memorization with a solid foundation. Action Theater will add more fun to the mix, and will help prepare them for public speaking at Sparhawk!
In addition, no day at Sparhawk is complete without plenty of time outdoors. The boys will grow in character through sports and enjoy popsicles in the sunshine. They will have the chance to make friends with fellow new students as well as current Sparhawk Minutemen.
Extra Notes
Minuteman Camp has been created to give incoming Minutemen in Grades 3 to 5 a taste of Sparhawk, equipping them with the skills they need as a student and giving them an early start on forming friendships. Current Minutemen in those grades are also more than welcome to join!
Each boy will be provided optional summer work so they can keep up their momentum in July and August. Avoid the Summer Slide by starting off on the right foot!
