Overview

College admissions can feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. College Application Boot Camp is a focused, hands-on program designed to help students approach the admissions process with clarity, confidence, and a strong plan. Campers will receive practical guidance on building a compelling application, plus dedicated time to write, revise, and strengthen their college essays with expert feedback.

Students will gain insider insight into how applications are actually read and evaluated, with coaching from a former University of Notre Dame Admissions Counselor. The week also includes targeted support for interview preparation, so students leave ready to present themselves thoughtfully and professionally.

What students will do

  • Get step-by-step college application advising (strategy, timelines, positioning)

  • Participate in an essay writing workshop with guided prompts and structured drafting time

  • Receive individualized college essay feedback to strengthen voice, clarity, and impact

  • Learn what admissions offices look for, with insight from the college side of the process

  • Practice interview coaching (common questions, storytelling, confidence, and delivery)
