These clubs vary with the season and student interest, ensuring a dynamic and engaging extracurricular experience. Below is a list of some of the most popular clubs available to students.

Attic Greek Society

The Attic Greek Society focuses exclusively on the Greek language, helping students learn the alphabet, pronunciation, vocabulary, and basic grammar. Through engaging activities such as reading simple texts, practicing conversation, and writing in Greek, students gain a deeper appreciation for the classical language. This club is ideal for those who enjoy linguistic challenges and wish to immerse themselves in Ancient Greek.

Board Game Club

Board Game Club is a great way for students to relax and enjoy classic and modern tabletop games with their peers. From strategic games like Risk and Settlers of Catan to quick, fun games like Uno and Exploding Kittens, students will develop decision-making, cooperation, and communication skills while having fun. Chess Club

Minuteman Club

A free, drop-in activity, Minuteman Club provides structured support after school every day except Friday. A teacher supervises the sessions, fostering a tone of serious study while allowing students the opportunity to collaborate with peers on challenging assignments. This club helps students build better study habits and gives them the opportunity to start on homework before being picked up by parents.

Model United Nations

In Model UN, students act as UN delegates as they discuss and debate current and historical events. Students research their country and its position on the issue, and collaborate with the other delegates to reach diplomatic solutions. Students learn to communicate effectively and practice the art of negotiation.

Outdoorsman Club

Outdoorsman Club builds on Sparhawk’s bushcraft module of the Craftsmanship program. Members practice various backcountry techniques such as shelter building and fire starting using natural materials, developing navigation skills through orienteering with maps and compasses, and pioneering (the art of lashing together structures using wood and rope).

Robotics and Coding Club

Students interested in technology and engineering will thrive in the Robotics and Coding Club. This hands-on club introduces students to programming and robotics through engaging projects. Using tools such as LEGO Mindstorms and beginner-friendly coding languages like Scratch, students will design, build, and program their own robots to complete various challenges.
